Mart ISD

MHS CERT students, Sara Graupner and Jadyn Hocking, along with their sponsor, Buffy Waldie, presented at the CERT National Conference last week.  The National Conference was held in Galveston.  The theme this year was "Talking CERT to the Next Level".    The MHS CERT team has been recognized by several organizations including the Texas School Safety Center.  Mrs. Waldie attended the TXSCC Conference this summer to accept the Statewide Student-Led Groups or Programs Award on behalf of Mart High School Teen CERT.    Mart ISD is proud of our CERT Team and appreciate the important skills that Community Emergency Response classes teach our students.
