Mart Elementary kindergarten classes visited the H.O.T. Fair in Waco where they were able to learn more about agriculture. Included in the tour was an animal presentation that included a tortoise, water buffalo, kangaroo, and zebra. The kids were able to explore the Doorways to Agriculture area presented by Texas Farm Bureau which included a cotton gin demonstration as well as visit the HEB Buddy Barn and Petting Zoo. Afterwards the students and teachers enjoyed a picnic lunch at Pecan Bottoms in Cameron Park.
