Last night the Mart ISD Board of Trustees said farewell to long time member Russell Carroll. Russell faithfully served the district for 21 years. He is the epitome of a Mart Panther and will be missed. In his place, John Murphy took the oath of office and was later selected as secretary of the board. Mart ISD welcomes John and all that his skill set will contribute to leadership of the district.

Remember JAM Sunday at the Methodist Church this week, May 5th, at 10:30 with lunch to follow. Bring Jammers and the while family!! Gonna be a GREAT day!!
Power has been restored at the school and we will continue with the plan to start at 10am. Due to flooding in the rural areas we are unable to run buses. All absences will be excused. If you choose to travel please stay safe.
Oncor is now predicting power will not be on until 11, but they are getting areas back on quicker than expected. We also have several bus routes flooded. We will make a call at 8am on whether we need to close for the day.
