Basketball games this week:
Tonight, 3 games at the high school gym vs Wortham (JVB,VG,VB) beginning at 5pm.
Friday, 4 games with JV Boys playing at the ES gym at 5 and JV Girls playing at the HS gym at 5 followed by Varsity girls and boys.
The Class of 2022 is hosting a Valentine's dinner & dance for 6th-8th grade Mart students. It will be at the high school cafeteria on February 12th from 6-10 pm. Dinner will include two spaghetti options. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold the week of the dance. We will also have concessions available at an additional cost. Good afternoon, MES Parents,
I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience we have caused during dismissal this week, however there are some changes being made. For the remainder of the week, students in the car line will be dismissed at 3:35 and buses will continue to run at their normal times. Starting on Monday, January 31st, MES will officially change their start and dismissal times to: 7:50-3:30. All students who arrive after 8:00 will be considered tardy. Happy School Board Appreciation Month! Mart ISD appreciates our Board of Trustees for their selfless service to the children in our district. Please see the attached pictures for flyers provided by EOAC. They are offering utility assistance as well as emergency rental assistance to the Mart area. Please spread the word to anyone else in the community who may need this assistance!
Due to COVID-19 in Wortham, Basketball has now been postponed to Wednesday, January 19th. Panther and Lady Panther basketball will play @ Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting is still planned for Saturday.
All athletic events will continue to take place as scheduled. Lady Panther & Panther Basketball will play tomorrow in Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting will still go to Bosqueville on Saturday. The Ag Booster Chili Supper fundraiser will still be held Saturday evening at the elementary cafeteria.
Due to COVID-19 among staff and students, Mart ISD will not have classes tomorrow, Jan 14th. We will return on Tues, January 18th. This missed day will not be made up due to flexibility in our district calendar. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause our families.
Reminder! A vaccine clinic is being held today at the high school cafeteria from 4:00pm-7:30pm. Initial vaccine doses, boosters, and child doses will be available.
All junior high basketball games vs Bremond scheduled for Thursday are also cancelled.
The Lady Panther basketball game vs Bremond tomorrow night has been cancelled due to COVID in their district. It will be rescheduled for a later time.
Due to new clarification from TEA, any student who tests positive for COVID-19 will now have to isolate for 10 days. The 5 day isolation option is no longer available for students. We will let you know of any further changes as they are received.
