Due to COVID-19 in Wortham, Basketball has now been postponed to Wednesday, January 19th. Panther and Lady Panther basketball will play @ Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting is still planned for Saturday.

All athletic events will continue to take place as scheduled. Lady Panther & Panther Basketball will play tomorrow in Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting will still go to Bosqueville on Saturday. The Ag Booster Chili Supper fundraiser will still be held Saturday evening at the elementary cafeteria.

Due to COVID-19 among staff and students, Mart ISD will not have classes tomorrow, Jan 14th. We will return on Tues, January 18th. This missed day will not be made up due to flexibility in our district calendar. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause our families.

Reminder! A vaccine clinic is being held today at the high school cafeteria from 4:00pm-7:30pm. Initial vaccine doses, boosters, and child doses will be available.

All junior high basketball games vs Bremond scheduled for Thursday are also cancelled.

The Lady Panther basketball game vs Bremond tomorrow night has been cancelled due to COVID in their district. It will be rescheduled for a later time.

Due to new clarification from TEA, any student who tests positive for COVID-19 will now have to isolate for 10 days. The 5 day isolation option is no longer available for students. We will let you know of any further changes as they are received.

Thank you Atmos Energy! Manager of Public Affairs, Tammie Bowman, dropped by this morning to present the Mart ISD Enrichment Foundation with a $5,000 check to go towards elementary reading initiatives. Thank you for your generous donation and support of our students!

Congratulations to Mart's Kevin Hoffman for being selected as UIL's High School Coach of the Year for 2019. He was recognized today during the 2ADII State Championship game for his work and devotion both on and off the field.
