Thank you to the Mart ISD students who helped with the Shepherd's Heart food distribution yesterday. The distribution will take place the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 3pm-4pm at the Mart Community Center. This event cannot happen without volunteers, and we appreciate these students taking time out of their summer schedules to serve others in the July heat.
They are waxing the 200 hallways this afternoon, so please do not come into the building until tomorrow. They are still working on the classrooms in the 100 hallway!
Shepherd's Heart will be here today, Tuesday, July 9th, at the Mart Community Center from 3pm-4pm. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance with food and groceries please let them know!
The Shepherd's Heart food distribution will be in Mart again tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9th, from 3pm-4pm at the Mart Community Center. They need volunteers starting at 2:30pm. If you are available, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/NVDMT7oewGBC8FSe6. Students will receive 3 hours of community service. Construction has started on the elementary addition! The interior remodel portion is complete and the campus will have 4 new classrooms available for the fall. Crews have now started on the addition portion which will consist of new offices, entrance, and library. The project is expected to take 16 months to complete. Information on revised drop off/pick up procedures will be sent out closer to the start of school. We can't wait to watch the transformation of this building into a contemporary learning environment for our littlest panthers! #PANTHERFamily
There is a food distribution today, Thurs 6/27, at the Church of Christ from 2pm-4pm.
Mart ISD would like to welcome Coach Terry to the #PANTHERFamily!
My name is Jace Terry. I am excited to be back with the Panther Family. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. I will be the Physical Education teacher at the Elementary. I will also be the Quarterbacks coach, and the Head Baseball Coach. I am a Mart Panther through and through. I graduated from Mart in 2018, winning a State title in 2017, and have been eager to get back ever since. My family runs deep in Mart, my mom is a paraprofessional at the Elementary, my sister is the High School Secretary, and I have two nieces and three nephews that attend Mart. I just got married to my beautiful wife, Madison. She joined me in watching the playoff run last year, and is just as excited as I am to be joining the Panther Family. I cannot wait to get started, teaching, and coaching champions.
Mart ISD would like to reintroduce Mrs. Ruge to the #PANTHERFamily!
Hey MES! Some of you may recognize me, but if not, my name is Brittany Ruge! I am married to my wonderful husband, Matt. We have two cuddly cats and a baby on the way! In my free time, I love to bake, create, garden, and hang out with friends and family. I graduated from the University of Wyoming and Baylor University with degrees in social work and have recently enjoyed the courses I have taken to pursue this career in teaching! This is my first year of teaching, but it will be my third year in the hallways of Mart schools. It is my mission to instill a love for learning and creative thinking in my students. It is my passion to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. We will learn lots of different scientific concepts and you will have many opportunities to do experiments, create projects, and discuss all things SCIENCE! I can't wait to be back with you all! Go Panthers!
Mrs. Ruge will teach 5th and 6th grade Science at Mart Elementary.
Mart ISD welcomes Mrs. Saulter to the #PANTHERFamily!
Hello! My name is Alex Saulter. Here I am with my favorite people- husband Garrett, bonus son, Grayson and daughter, Lila. ❤️ My husband and I moved to Mart about 2 years ago, and have grown to absolutely love this community. Small town feel, tradition, team spirit, kids playing down every street, small business. (A few reasons we love Mart.) My family and I love traveling, camping, riding our side-by-side, and essentially anything outdoors. I have past experience with Daycare + Pre school 3-4. My recent professional background is in Retail management, tourism/ guest experience. This is such a fun change for me! I can’t wait to plant roots with Mart ISD, and continue to cultivate relationships with the kiddos and families of our community.
Mrs. Saulter will serve as a paraprofessional at Mart Elementary.
Mart ISD would like to welcome Coach Vega to the #PANTHERFamily!
My name is Coach Re Vega and I am excited to join the Panther Family. I am a Baylor University Graduate and previously taught at a different District before starting my family. My husband Rolando and I have 4 daughters; our 2 oldest are in College: Hannah just completed her 2nd year at UMHB while playing softball and majoring in Finance and Taylor will begin Tarleton this Fall pursuing her BSN/RN; Izzy will start 8th Grade and Olivia will start Pre-K4 this year as Panthers. I have been substitute teaching on the HS Campus and when given the opportunity to become Full-Time, I did not hesitate. The Administration, Faculty, Staff and Students here are amazing! I look forward to Teaching and Coaching your kids this year while helping them become the best in all they do.
Coach Vega will teach science and coach at the high school.
